On behalf of the Tulane University Health Sciences Center and Medical Business Solutions, LLC, we invite you to attend the 2017 Advanced Institute for Anesthesia Practice Management to be held Saturday April 29 - Monday May 1, 2017 at The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas.

The 2017 Advanced Institute for Anesthesia Practice Management is the only anesthesia conference in the marketplace that focuses on practice management issues with the goal of enlightening attendees on broader group strategy issues, including numerous talks on billing, coding and compliance. Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant should be better able to effectively:

  1. Identify anesthesia billing compliance issues, including main compliance risk areas for anesthesia practices.
  2. Explain billing and coding for obstetrics, postoperative pain, spinal nerve stimulators, medications, and critical care.
  3. State the specific CPT codes to enhance practice revenues and maximize reimbursement.
  4. Identify future trends in the anesthesia marketplace with emphasis on new technology, hospital relationships, the sale and acquisition of group practices and the future of groups.
  5. Describe the salient points of educating providers and billing companies to Governmental Quality Programs including PQRS, QCDRs, MACRA and MIPS.
  6. Describe interpretations of the QZ Modifier.
  7. Identify the new trends in the anesthesia marketplace that will allow practices to remain viable.

Target Audience

The target audience includes Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Practice Administrators, Billing Managers, Professional Coders and other Allied Health Professionals.

Tulane University Health Sciences Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Tulane University Health Sciences Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Registration

The fee is $995 prior to March 16; $1,045 after March 16. Fees include a thumb drive syllabus, full buffet breakfasts, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, wine and cheese reception on Saturday and a buffet luncheon on Sunday. The optional lunches on Saturday are $60. An optional printed syllabus is available for $50.

Checks should be made out to Tulane University. If you cancel your participation in this conference, your registration fee, less $175 administrative fee will be refunded when written notification is received by March 27, 2017. No refunds will be issued after March 27, 2017.
